The Virtues of Asma Bint Abi Bakr
She was a great companion (Sahabi) of Muhammed (saws) who was fortunate that
Her father was a companion.
Her grandfather was a companion.
Her husband was a companion.
Her siblings were companions.
Her children were companions.
Asma bint Abi Bakr As-Siddiq (ra) was a great woman. One of the interesting points about her life was that she was not good at making bread. Clearly, we have something in common!
She used her own clothing to bring food to her father and RasulAllah when they started their journey to Madinah. She climbed the mountain even when she was heavily pregnant. She was favored with gratitude and appreciation from the Messenger (saws) and her father.
What lessons can we learn from her life?
She was an honorable companion and a scholar.
She was a righteous wife who respected the life of her busy husband and supported him during times of hardship.
She was a great mother and a virtuous mentor to her children.
She was a sincere believer who devoted herself to performing acts of worship.
